It happen that I went to russia to auditioned for opera companies and Vera was in Moscow at the same time. She and her husband came to meet me for lunch. Not only that, but she was staying on the same street in a hotel, where I had my audition.

We went to 'Emelia', russia style food cafe to talk about possible concerts, festivals, Anna Ackmatova and children.

I am always amazed how people create contact and expose their personalities in order to comunicate, impress, show interest and make friends and work partners. And I am very lucky to meet such people like Vera with such openness, warmth, honesty and modesty.

I am so much looking forward to sing more of Vera's music.

I can honestly say that I have never yet met such multi talented, inspiring young musician, conductor, composer. With increadably warm heart, compationate for humain. Ben was introduced to me by Jill White. He came specially to Pool to hear my Zerlina performance.

He has become a dear friend and I absolutely admire him, his dedication to music, people, humanism.

After coming to hear me sing Rachmaninoff songs at st. George's Hanover Square he texted: 'you were uterly compelling'
Then Ben came with the idea to write a piece for me, at which point I introduced him to the poems of Anna Akhmatova. The piece is : 'white night' and talks about a woman waiting for her beloved to come, but in vain.

I have recorded it on my CD, which will be reliesed very soon.

This piece will be one of the 5, which will make one act opera. Ben is writing it for the Festival in September.

it such a luctury for the singer to work with a composer. It is such an amazing feeling to know that the piece is written for me..
